A TV tracker for iPhone and iPad. It remembers where you are in every show, tells you when new episodes air and keeps your history, ratings and reviews. It’s designed to be calm and private: no account, no ads, no feed.

Because Seriel is built around how TV works. A show stays with you for months or years: episodes arrive week by week, you stop halfway through a season, you wait for it to come back. Today, Schedule, Library and your alerts are all shaped around that rhythm.

A film is one evening with a beginning and an end. Fitting films into those screens would make every one of them a little worse at its job, so Seriel does one thing and does it properly: TV.

For films, there’s Ciniel, my film journal for iPhone.

Import (free) copies a public Trakt profile into Seriel once. Afterwards the two are independent. Sync (Seriel Pro) signs you in to Trakt and keeps both in step: what you do in Seriel reaches Trakt, and changes on Trakt come into Seriel. How it works.

No. Before anything changes, Seriel compares your library with your Trakt account and lists every difference. You pick, item by item, which version stays. Nothing reaches or leaves Trakt that you didn’t choose, and watches keep their own dates.

Nein.
